Queen’s Health Services offers medical,
counselling, psychiatric, and health
promotion services. We are a non-judgmental,
confidential student service. Call
for an appointment with a doctor or
councellor, or for urgent matters,
walk-in (week-days only) to the urgent
care clinic.
Open weekdays, all year and Tuesdays
& Thursday evenings during the
fall and winter terms, starting September
2009.

treatment, medical follow-ups, immunizations,
birth control, AIDS, sexually transmitted
diseases.
Royal
Military College
33 Canadian Forces Health Services
Centre provides care for all service
personnel at CFB Kingston. RMC Officer
Cadets are assigned to CDU (Clinical
Delivery Unit) 3 which consists of
civilian and military health care
providers that work as a multi-disciplinary
team in assisting the member in achieving
optimum health and wellness. Normal
hours of operation are Monday to Friday
0715 hrs - 1600 hrs.

The Base Addiction Counsellor is
available for assistance to RMC Officer
Cadets. Call extension 5776 to book
an appointment or extension 5120 to
speak directly with the counsellor.
A referral from CDU 3 or the College
is not necessary. The Base Addiction
Counsellor also provides crisis intervention
outside of office hours and can be
reached by calling the 33 Health Services
Duty Officer and asking for this number.
Sexual
Health Clinics

Confidential and free sexually transmitted
infection counselling, testing, and
treatment; contraception; and PAP
tests for women under 19.
This clinic provides oral contraceptive
pill, patch, ring, and injection,
available at reduced cost for women
under 25 years of age if prescribed
and purchased through the clinic.
Birth control prescriptions for purchase
outside the clinic can be provided.
Women 25 years of age and over may
purchase contraception at full clinic
price, and emergency contraception
through the Sexual Health Clinic in
Kingston. Appointments are available
by calling the Sexual Health Program.
